Hugyfot developped an aluminium housing for the Go Pro 3 camera. As this camera offers quite some interesting features, Hugyfot wanted to come up with a housing that would match this popular camera.  Any Go Pro housing currently on the market only takes the Go Pro camera and its screen. When using such a setup, the use is limited to approximately 40 minutes, which is not enough for most users. To charge the Go Pro internal battery you need the Go Pro camera (USB) which means you cannot charge an extra battery while you are using your Go Pro camera. The Hugyfot housing however allows you to install an extra Hugyfot battery pack in between the Go Pro camera and the Go Pro screen, extending the use up to 6 hours! This means that you will not have to worry about a recharge or a battery exchange for an entire day.

Some interesting features of the Hugyfot housing for the Go Pro 3:

- Possibility to add an extra battery pack for extended use (up to 6 hours).

- Possibility to connect an external watertight monitor housing for pole cam use.

- Possibility to connect an external underwater microphone.

- Possibility to connect an external additional battery pack for extreme time lapse duration.

Both camera and monitor housing are pressure rated to 100m. The monitor housing can be equipped with a cable of up to 3m, allowing the user to film in wrecks and caves when the camera is fixed to a stick.

Sony: Due to changes in the electronics of Sony Camcorders for 2011, they are currently not compatible.

Beyond the features list is the real world user interface. We are proud of our finger tip handle controls that are the best in the business. Our pre-programmed one touch white balance control sequences a series of camera commands with a single button press. (G10 & XA10 utilize a two touch system)

Get instantaneous white-balance, so your subjects will keep their stunning color, while your buddy's video will be all one color with green shapes moving thru the frame.

Integrated System Design

Our removable handles, locking bayonet lens mount, un-tethered camera tray, and integrated monitor back are modular elements that are easy to use and easy to maintain.

Light and Motion's integrated monitor design makes managing your video easy. The wet controls let you adjust for the dive conditions and the high resolution screen allows you to confirm your white balance and access the camera's control menu at the left handle.
