The Gates EM43 is a 4.3" Wide-screen 16:9 external color monitor for high definition camcorders. The monitor is constructed of aluminum material and has a depth rating of up to 450'. The monitor has a 16:9 aspect ratio and a high-resolution dot count of 392K (1440 x 272 R+B+G pixels). This allows you to focus as well as compose scenes even in bright sunlight.

The monitor features power-on and auto-format sensing. A low battery light tells you when it's time to change the eight AA cells. You can use alkaline (recommended), NiMH, NiCad, or Lithium batteries.
