Details

Capture the wonders of the undersea world at depths up to 328' with your Nikon D850 digital SLR camera safely enclosed in the MDX-D850 Underwater Housing from Sea & Sea. With its streamlined design, the housing weighs only 101 oz and is close in size to the camera itself. The housing provides access to a wide range of camera functions via mechanical levers, dials, and push-button controls.

FEATURES:

  • Compatible with Optical YS Converter/N1 (available separately)
  • YS Converter/N1 changes the camera's TTL signal into a light signal and allows for both TTL and manual strobe exposure using Fiber-Optic Cable II
  • Port Lock prevents the port from turning or loosening
  • The Port lock lever is strategically located to avoid accidental unlocking
  • The lens-lock release button makes it easy to change lenses without opening the housing
  • The camera's diopter adjustment dial can be operated from outside the housing, a useful feature when two or more people with different eyesight use the housing
  • Pulling out the focus/zoom dial gives sufficient room inside the housing to accommodate larger diameter lenses
  • Luminous stickers on controls for better visibility in dark conditions
  • Preinstalled 0.5x optical viewfinder (viewfinders with higher magnification available separately)
  • Optional 2-pin connector for sync cords available separately
  • Accessory port enables the use of separately available Leak Sentinel to check the housing's vacuum seal before diving
  • One sacrificial zinc diode on front and one on the rear to prevent electrolysis damage
  • Built-in LED leak sensor immediately alerts you in the unlikely event of water ingress, lighting up in red
  • Tripod screw-mount hole on the bottom of the housing
